PARTICIPATING NEIGHBORHOODS & ORGANIZATIONS

RON’s neighborhood partners include organizations serving communities across Milwaukee, including:

BridgeBuilders is a community improvement organization that inspires neighborhood transformation one block at a time by connecting residents with partners, facilitating targeted property rehabilitation, promoting cultural understanding, and empowering residents to collectively improve their blocks.

Dominican Center works with residents of the Amani neighborhood to build neighborhood capacity and foster social change through education, housing support, economic development, safety initiatives, and family well-being programs. The organization emphasizes resident-led revitalization and community decision-making.

Metcalfe Park Community Bridges focuses on resident-led community development rooted in social justice, working to ensure Metcalfe Park residents are safe, connected, civically engaged, and have access to opportunities that support economic and cultural flourishing.

MCC strengthens individuals, families, and neighborhoods by addressing basic needs and advancing community well-being. With more than a century of presence in Milwaukee, MCC provides youth development, violence prevention, housing and basic needs support, and community-building initiatives. Its work emphasizes relationship-based engagement and neighborhood resilience, making MCC a trusted partner in resident-centered efforts.

NWSP is a collaborative nonprofit founded by anchor institutions, residents, and civic leaders to revitalize Milwaukee’s Near West Side. NWSP advances inclusive neighborhood development through initiatives focused on housing, commercial corridors, safety, health, and community engagement, leveraging partnerships to align investment with resident priorities.

Riverworks Development Corporation is a nonprofit dedicated to building social and economic community capital in Milwaukee’s Harambee, Riverwest, and surrounding neighborhoods by aligning residents and businesses with resources that strengthen neighborhood prosperity and quality of life.

Rooted and Rising

Washington Park believes in the dignity and potential of every person and works to help families meet basic needs, build stability, and pursue their goals. Through housing, childcare, food access, and neighborhood engagement, the organization partners with residents to create a welcoming, supportive, and thriving community.

SPCA   works to enhance the quality of life through resident engagement, homeownership support, neighborhood beautification, and community-led initiatives. The association promotes neighborhood pride, stability, and collective action rooted in long-term resident leadership in the Sherman Park neighborhood. 

SOC is a grassroots nonprofit serving Milwaukee’s near south side, focused on civic engagement, community organizing, and neighborhood development to help residents create safe, livable, and economically vibrant communities.

VIA CDC works to build equitable, thriving Milwaukee neighborhoods by improving housing conditions, supporting small businesses, and cultivating resident leadership. VIA’s place-based approach integrates affordable housing development, home improvement assistance, economic development, and community engagement to address systemic inequities and strengthen neighborhood stability.

Walnut Way Conservation Corps is a resident-led, comprehensive community development organization in Lindsay Heights that integrates wellness, environmental stewardship, work opportunities, and economic development to create a resilient and self-sustaining neighborhood.
